On Wednesday 15th November almost 40 members, retailers and industry professionals gathered together for an enjoyable networking evening in the centre of Birmingham at The Lost & Found on Bennetts Hill.

The team from Retail Design Expo were on hand to provide an update on the 2018 showincluding allnew breakfast networking and a new online exhibitor portal. SDEA provided drinks and a buffet for the evening, with guests complimenting the relaxed nature of the event in which many new contacts were created and business cards shared. Bob Garton, Managing Director of Glencourt Associates stated that the evening was:

“A good venue with tasty food and great company. Those members and guests who did not attend missed a good event.”

SDEA Director, Antony Behiels, said of the evening: “We realise that the Association cannot be totally
London centric. Our members are always pushed for time and so we must hold events that are easily
accessible for those who are too far away from London. Last year we held an event in Manchester, so thought Birmingham would be the ideal location this time. Feedback from the event has been fantastic and we look forward to holding more events like this in the future.”.
